Hello, these are my photos relating on framing. Some of them were taken months ago. So, it means that I have done active and passive framing unconsciously. I tried to remember why I do passive and active framing on different or same objects. Then I got the conclusion.
In active framed photos, something is emphasized and weakens the surrounding environment. I do it because, I want to shoot something clearly.
In passive framed photos, observers will move their eyes because there is no obvious emphasis. Just like landscape photos, there is the overall beauty from the sky to the sea, as well as the detailed beauty from clouds to waves.
Of course, there are some photos that I can't quite determine whether it is an active or passive frame. I put two at last. Please see the end if you are interested in analysis.
In addition, the framing idea remind me a video. I think it actively framing a lot.
At Halloween in AC.
I took a walk in downtown and found this statue. It looks like a camel.
I saw a bird in fog weather on the LU bridge. It was so tiny. I don't know why my eyes are so acute. I went to it very slowly so I took a close photo.
The first one was in an elevator, and the second was in the candle shop. They are different not only because frame passively or actively, but also because the direct or indirect light sources.
These are great images! I love how you distinguish between active and passive
